Shuddhi — Purification
शुद्धि
Bathe and wear yellow or saffron — Krishnaji's auspicious colours. Face East or North. Best times are sunrise and dusk (Sandhya). Wednesday and Thursday are especially auspicious for Krishnaji's worship.
स्नान करें और पीले या केसरिया वस्त्र पहनें। पूर्व या उत्तर दिशा में मुख करें।

Tulsi Arpan and Avahana
तुलसी अर्पण और आवाहन
Offer Tulsi leaves first — this is the most sacred offering for Krishnaji. Even a single Tulsi leaf offered with love is considered the greatest gift in his worship. Then invite Krishnaji with the avahana mantra.
सबसे पहले तुलसी पत्ते अर्पित करें — यह कृष्णजी को सबसे प्रिय है। एक तुलसी पत्र प्रेम से अर्पित करना सबसे बड़ा दान है। फिर आवाहन मंत्र बोलें।
Avahana Mantra
ॐ श्रीकृष्णाय नमः। आवाहयामि देवकीनंदन श्री कृष्णाय नमः॥

Panchamrit Abhishek
पंचामृत अभिषेक
Bathe the idol in panchamrit (milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugar) one by one with the mantra, then with clean water. Wipe dry, dress in fresh yellow cloth, apply chandan tilak on the forehead.
मूर्ति को पंचामृत से क्रमशः स्नान कराएं। फिर स्वच्छ जल से। पीले वस्त्र पहनाएं, चंदन का तिलक लगाएं।

Makhan-Mishri Bhog — The Essential Offering
माखन-मिश्री भोग
Offer fresh white butter with rock sugar (mishri) as Krishnaji's special bhog. This recreates the offering the gopis made to Bal Gopala. Also offer ripe banana, peda or modak. Always place Tulsi leaves on top of all food offerings before presenting them to Krishnaji.
ताजा माखन और मिश्री का भोग लगाएं। केला, पेड़ा या मोदक भी अर्पित करें। सभी भोग पर तुलसी पत्ता अवश्य रखें।

Hare Krishna Mahamantra Japa
हरे कृष्ण महामंत्र जाप
Chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra 108 times on a Tulsi mala. According to the Kali-Santarana Upanishad this is the supreme mantra for the current age. Each repetition purifies the mind and brings one into direct contact with the divine name, which in the Vaishnava tradition is identical with the divine himself.
तुलसी माला पर हरे कृष्ण महामंत्र का १०८ बार जाप करें। कलि-संतरण उपनिषद के अनुसार यह कलियुग का सर्वोच्च मंत्र है।
Hare Krishna Mahamantra
हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे।
हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे॥
हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे॥
O Hare, O Krishna, O Rama — I call upon you. Sixteen names, thirty-two syllables. The Kali-Santarana Upanishad declares this the supreme purifying mantra of the current age.

Aarti and Prasad Distribution
आरती और प्रसाद वितरण
Sing the Krishna Aarti — "Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki" — while waving the lamp clockwise before Krishnaji. After aarti, distribute the makhan-mishri as prasad. The Tulsi leaves used in worship are Mahaprasad — keep them with reverence.
